Helen Tawse design provides a unique full specification service. We understand our clients’ requirements and will translate their visions into luxury interiors. Helen Tawse design works across a broad range of sectors including, residential, hospitality and commercial projects throughout the UK and internationally.

We strive to maximise the potential of each space and develop each interior with imagination, vision and exceptional attention to detail, always aiming to exceed expectations and satisfy our clients.

Our architectural design skill set and spatial planning experience encompass all aspects of your development.

Wherever possible we commission and source bespoke hand-crafted ironmongery, vintage furniture and salvaged pieces of building material and unique artwork. We have in-depth product knowledge and regularly visit international traders and design shows, to make sure we are always in advance of the latest interior trends.

We build strong relationships with our clients and suppliers, which lasts beyond a development build time. Because of these relationships, we are proud of our high level of repeat business.

CONSULTATION

We arrange an initial complimentary meeting with the client to ascertain the brief. The meeting may cover the target market for the development, feasibility and planning issues as well as the vision, outline budget and timescale.

CONCEPT DESIGN

Draft layouts illustrate the use of space, any structural modifications, and furniture layouts. Scheme boards visually demonstrate colour pallets, furniture design and finishes.

DETAIL DESIGN AND SPECIFICATION

Once the concept design is agreed, every element of the scheme is designed and specified for the client to sign off. This includes CAD plans, elevations, electrical layouts, detailed joinery packages, finishes schedules, FF&E schedules and wayfinding signage where necessary.

PROCUREMENT

A comprehensive cost plan is supplied with the cost of each element to each. We will either specify the FF&E to the clients so they can source the items themselves or we can supply the fittings and fixtures. Which ever is the clients preferred method.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Progress of the projects design is continually managed and monitored, ensuring any issues arising are quickly and efficiently resolved to the client’s satisfaction in a timely manner.

SPECIALIST INSTALLATION AND DRESSING

Once construction is complete and suitable for the design installation. Our team of experienced project managers and operatives coordinate with the client to carry out a full installation to the development. Wall hangings are hung, furniture is built, soft furnishings are fitted, and accessories are displayed. Once the installation is complete, we hand back over the project to the client.
